Braided Apple Bacon Melt

Ingredients:

  • 1 Apple Butter Braid® pastry
  • 1/2 cup honey mustard
  • 6 sliced Monterey Jack cheese
  • 12 slices bacon, fried
  • 1 Gala apple, cored and cut into six thin slices (24 total slices)

Step by Step Directions:

  1. Bake pastry as directed on package
  2. Cut pastry into six horizontal sections and cut each section in half to make top and bottom of sandwich
  3. Spread honey mustard on each half
  4. Place half of sliced cheese on bottom
  5. Layer with 2 pieces of bacon and four slices of apple,
    top with other half of cheese
  6. Place top of sandwich on top
  7. Place in greased baking pan and bake at 350º for 8-10 mins
