The sun is shining, and April has finally arrived which means we’re ready for another “Dealership Spotlight.” This month the spotlight is on JMC Fundraising. JMC Fundraising has been with the Butter Braid® brand since 2008. It was started by one woman who was just looking for a way to support her family. Now, over a decade later, that woman has not only helped her own family but hundreds of others throughout the Georgia area.
History
JMC Fundraising is owned and operated by Jennifer Whitley. After Jennifer and her husband had their son, Jennifer began looking for a job that would help her contribute to her family financially while also allowing her to be a wife and mom. Eventually, she discovered Butter Braid Pastries and the network of dealerships that sell them. It was exactly what she was looking for: a job with flexible hours that would allow her to support her family and make a difference in her community of Ellerslie, Georgia.
Jennifer mostly runs the business by herself. But, she gets plenty of support from her father-in-law, Steve Whitley, who helps with sorting and deliveries. JMC Fundraising is a smaller dealership. This means Jennifer is able give each of her groups the very best service and plenty of one-on-one attention. She likes working closely with all her groups because, according to Jennifer, “such great and honorable causes deserve the very best.”
Fundraising Groups
This Georgia dealership has helped many groups run successful fundraisers throughout the years. Some of the groups they’ve helped include day care facilities, PTAs, prom committees, student councils, the Future Business Leaders of America, the FFA, church youth groups, bands, chorus groups, dance teams, animal shelters, athletic departments, and lacrosse teams. These groups have raised over $1 million with the assistance of JMC Fundraising.
After a decade of selling Butter Braid Pastries, Jennifer says it’s been a very rewarding career. She especially loves knowing that she has helped so many people help themselves and run successful fundraisers. The groups that work with her always rave about the exceptional service Jennifer provides. They love that she treats her customers like friends.
