Dealership Spotlight: All Star Fundraising

August has arrived, and it has brought with it a new “Dealership Spotlight” post! This month, we’re featuring All Star Fundraising. From humble beginnings as a small restaurant in Arkansas, All Star Fundraising has become a cornerstone of the fundraising community. Founded by the Taylors in 2002, this duo has built a dealership that’s dedicated to helping groups achieve their goals. Today, All Star Fundraising is a business of family and friends that works hard to provide high-quality products and exceptional assistance to all the groups they serve.

History

Back in the early 2000s, Alesha and Austin Taylor were college students just trying to navigate the complexities of getting a higher education while pursuing their dreams of owning their own business. Their first step into the business world began with opening a pizza place with Alesha’s older sister and her husband, a local football coach who was no stranger to fundraising. In fact, all four of them had experience running and participating in fundraisers. This is due to their work with youth ministry as well as their own extracurricular activities during their school days.

Austin, Alesha, and her family recognized a gap in the market for high-quality fundraising products. So, the four business owners decided to offer the pizzas from their restaurant as a fundraiser for local groups. After a while, the decision was made to expand their product offerings. This sparked a memory for Austin. He remembered a product he sold during a football camp back in 8th grade: Butter Braid® Pastries. He recalled the success of that fundraiser and how much supporters raved about the product. That’s when he decided to reach out to the makers of the Butter Braid Pastry to see if they would be open to the Taylors adding the product to their fundraisers.

Austin’s inquiries led them to discover no dealership currently operated in their area, and they saw an opportunity. With determination and vision, he and Alesha launched All Star Fundraising in August 2002 in Lewisville, AR.

Changes to the Dealership

Over the years, All Star Fundraising evolved significantly. They moved operations from their home in Lewisville to a central warehouse in Benton. This 5,000-square-foot facility marked a significant milestone for the dealership and the Taylors. It enabled them to better manage storage, logistics, and overall operations.

Despite the growth and changes, the core mission of All Star Fundraising remains the same: to make fundraising as simple and profitable as possible for their groups. The team’s dedication to this mission is reflected in their continuous efforts to improve processes, provide exceptional service, and offer high-quality products. The success of All Star Fundraising is a testament to the Taylors’ hard work, innovation, and unwavering commitment to helping others achieve their fundraising goals.

Fundraising Groups

For Austin and Alesha, the most rewarding part of their work is the connections they build and the happiness they bring to their groups. They take immense pride in transforming fundraising from an “unavoidable necessity” into a pleasant and rewarding experience. Hearing feedback such as, “That’s one of the easiest fundraisers we’ve ever done!” just reaffirms their efforts and dedication.

Group leaders really appreciate the Taylors’ dedication and flawless customer service. Laura F. wrote, “I would recommend this fundraiser to any other organization. We REALLY appreciate how easy this fundraiser is. You guys are extremely organized and easy to work with. There is nothing I would change about your business. Thank you so much!”

All Star Fundraising’s impact extends across a wide range of groups, from large elementary schools and sports leagues to individual kids raising money for summer camps. This versatility is a significant strength of the Taylors’ dealership, allowing them to assist small groups that might otherwise be priced out of many fundraising opportunities. By making fundraising accessible to more organizations, they ensure everyone has the chance to succeed and meet their goals.
