It’s time for our last “Dealership Spotlight” of 2022. To end the year, we’re introducing you to a dealership that has been helping groups make their fundraising dreams come true for over seven years. Dynamite Fundraisers opened in Arizona in 2015. Since joining the Butter Braid® Fundraising team, it has been this dealership’s mission to provide superior customer service and support to all the groups it works with. That’s because the owner of Dynamite Fundraisers wants to make sure she is doing everything she can to help groups achieve their goals.
History
Kristi Hubbard always dreamed of opening her own business. Specifically, she wanted to open a business that would have her working in the community she loved and allow her to make a difference. That’s when Kristi learned about Butter Braid Pastries. She was instantly impressed by the incredible taste and quality of the pastries. However, she was even more excited to learn about the brand’s mission to “Share the Good” by offering its products exclusively through fundraisers.
Kristi could tell that this was a company that values helping others which is a value she, too, holds close to her heart. When she learned that there was an opportunity to open a Butter Braid Fundraising dealership in her area, Kristi knew it was a chance she couldn’t pass up. Kristi turned her dream into a reality and opened Dynamite Fundraisers in Flagstaff, Arizona on October 1, 2015.
Changes to the Dealership
Dynamite Fundraisers has added a few new features to the business over the last seven years. First, Kristi has expanded her fundraising program to include several new pastry flavors. Now, her program includes Apple, Bavarian Crème, Cinnamon, Strawberry Cream Cheese, Four Cheese & Herb, and Cream Cheese.
Recently, she also added an online store to her program. The online store allows sellers to promote their own store link via email, text, or social media. Supporters can order and pay online using a credit card or mobile wallet. As a bonus, all deliveries are now prepacked and organized by seller to keep the fundraising process as easy as possible. Kristi is very excited to be able to offer these options to the groups in her area, and she’s happy to see how much they have helped them in their efforts to reach their goals.
Kristi continues to run the business mostly by herself. However, her husband, Warren, is always there to lend support when she needs it. His job is to handle the deliveries and help with presorting, especially during the busy season. Kristi is very grateful for all the work he does to continue making her dream of running her own business a reality.
Fundraising Groups
When she opened Dynamite Fundraisers, Kristi wanted to make sure she was doing everything she could to support her groups as they work to achieve their goals. Kristi knows how important dreams are, and she wants to see as many people as possible turn their dreams into reality. That’s why her number one goal is to always provide superior customer service alongside a hassle-free fundraiser. It’s a lot of work, but seeing her groups go above and beyond the goals they set for themselves makes it all worth it.
Since 2015, Kristi has helped a lot of groups in the Arizona area. Dynamite Fundraisers has arranged fundraisers for sports clubs, charities, schools, dances, and so many more. In fact, one of Kristi’s favorite parts of her business is all the different groups she gets to work with. When she started, she thought she’d mostly be working with schools. Instead, she gets to meet different people from all sorts of activities and businesses and help them raise funds.
Group leaders really appreciate Kristi’s support and her devotion to their causes. Bud I. from Taylor, AZ says, “This was the easiest fundraiser ever! The delivery process was so quick and easy. An amazing product with amazing profits!”
What Kristi Wants You to Know
For Kristi, owning Dynamite Fundraisers has really been a dream come true. However, there have certainly been some challenges. Kristi says her biggest challenge to date was one we are all very familiar with…COVID-19. “All our schools and groups were closed,” Kristi explained. “People couldn’t leave home, so there were no fundraisers for almost two years. I was very lucky that I didn’t have to make any cutbacks. I was also fortunate to have the use of our online store, so I could begin to sign groups up for online fundraisers once they were ready.”
Kristi is so grateful to have things up and running and to be working with her groups again. She wants everyone in her community, especially those who have supported her business, to know how grateful she is for that support. It’s been a true blessing for her to be surrounded by so many wonderful people.
