Apple Pastry Fries

Ingredients
  • 1 Apple Butter Braid® Pastry
  • Flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • Decorating sugar crystals
  • Caramel sauce (for dipping)
Step-by-Step Directions
  1. Let your Butter Braid Pastry rise for 8-12 hours
  2. Place pastry on floured surface with pastry bottom up
  3. Sprinkle pastry with flour and roll out thin
  4. Mix 1 egg and 1 Tbsp. water to create egg wash
  5. Brush pastry with egg wash
  6. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  7. Sprinkle with decorating sugar crystals
  8. Cut in 1/2″ stripes
  9. Cut the stripes in half
  10. Place fries on parchment-lined pan
  11. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes
