It’s time for this November’s “Dealership Spotlight” post! This month Foothill Fundraising is in the spotlight. Foothill Fundraising joined the Butter Braid® Fundraising team 12 years ago. The dealership is famous for the unwavering support they provide to their groups, helping each one from the beginning to the very end of their fundraiser. History
Marlo and Curt Guillot first heard about Butter Braid Pastries from their friend Jennifer. The Guillots fell in love with the delicious pastries and were excited to learn how the fundraising-exclusive brand has helped thousands of groups raise money with their fundraisers.
This information could not have come at a better time. With their son starting school, Marlo and Curt were excited to make some changes in their lives. Before they knew it, Marlo was flying out to West Bend, Iowa to meet the makers of the Butter Braid Pastries. She fondly remembers her first trip to the small town, “I was driving through the corn fields wondering where in the world I was driving to and prayed that my car didn’t break down.” After Marlo met with the team and took a tour of the facility, she flew back to Meadow Vista, CA where she and Curt started Foothill Fundraising in 2008.
Changes to the Dealership
Over the years, the Guillots have done their best to keep their business as efficient as possible. Marlo and Curt have added new freezers, a delivery truck, and a cargo trailer to their dealership. They’ve also made several updates to their fundraising program and to the technological aspects of the business. All these changes have allowed Marlo and Curt to help groups run the easiest fundraiser possible. But the one thing that will never change is the time the Guillots spend with each group, guiding them through each step of the fundraising process.
Fundraising Groups
Marlo and Curt love getting the chance to work with so many wonderful groups and help them raise money for their great causes. Their groups have held fundraisers for class field trips, band uniforms, equipment, competitions and tournaments, yearbook, science camp, mission trips, and so much more. Foothill Fundraising has helped groups raise over $1 million since 2008.
Groups love the personal attention they get when they work with Foothill Fundraising. Some groups have been with them for over 10 years because of the amazing experiences they have with them.
