Dealership Spotlight: Stoller Fundraising

It’s already February and spring will be here before you know it. That means it’s time to pick out the flowers you’re going to plant, choose where to go on spring break, and sign up for your seasonal fundraiser. Before you do, take some time to read this month’s “Dealership Spotlight” feature! This month the spotlight is on Stoller Fundraising, who is currently celebrating their 25th anniversary!

Stoller Fundraising joined the Butter Braid® Fundraising team all the way back in 1997. This dealership has accomplished a lot throughout the years. They’ve grown their team, their business, and their programs, so they can best serve each of the fundraising groups they partner with. It’s their mission to always be improving, so they can provide the stress-free fundraising experience their groups want and deserve.

History

Stoller Fundraising was started by Rob Stoller. He got his start in fundraising because he was looking for an opportunity to own and manage his own business. Specifically, Rob wanted to open a business that would allow him to help others. Goals are very important to Rob. For him, setting goals means creating a plan to ensure you’re always improving both yourself and the world around you. He knows how valuable they are, and he wanted a business that would put him in a position to help others achieve their goals. It was also important that the business provide a good life and new opportunities to everyone who worked there – past, present, and future.

One day, Rob was presented with the opportunity to start his own Butter Braid Pastry dealership. He was impressed by the quality of the product and even more excited about the brand’s mission to “Share the Good”. It checked all of the boxes, and Rob was ready to cross the goal of being a business owner off his list. In 1997, he opened Stoller Fundraising in Creston, OH.

Changes to the Dealership

This Ohio-based dealership has done a lot of growing in the last 25 years. There have been many new team members added to the business in that time. Currently, they have 5 full-time sales representatives, 2 full-time secretaries, and 19 seasonal employees. Stoller Fundraising also gained a new co-owner. Ben Stoller, Rob’s son, joined him at the dealership once he was out of high school. Ben always wanted to work with his dad. The two share the same thoughts, values, goals, and desire to help others achieve their goals. In 2014, Ben became a co-owner of the dealership alongside his dad. Ben is an incredible and inspirational leader at Stoller Fundraising. He enjoys helping his team and customers grow and is so excited for the future of the business.

Stoller Fundraising started in Rob’s home. In 2003, they built the first office space that was separate from the house. The business recently expanded into a new office building in May 2022. The warehouse and freezer storage spaces have also gone through several upgrades. Stoller Fundraising’s mission to continually improve led them to expanding in 2002, 2009, 2013, and 2018. Each time giving them more space for new product lines, so they could better support the needs of their fundraising groups.

Fundraising Groups

The team at Stoller Fundraising is so grateful for the work they get to do and for all the amazing groups they get to help along the way. For them, it is an honor to help these groups and see how they use the funds they raise to improve themselves and their community. Some of these groups have been with them throughout the dealership’s 25-year existence, so Stoller Fundraising has had the privilege of growing right alongside the groups they serve.

Since 1997, Stoller Fundraising has worked with schools, churches, bands, choirs, cheer groups, 4-H clubs, daycares, gymnastics, and more. In total, Stoller Fundraising has helped over 3,300 groups run over 12,000 fundraisers in the past 25 years. Altogether, the groups they work with have raised over $17.1 million for their causes.

Busy parents and group leaders love how simple and easy it is to fundraise with Stoller Fundraising. K. Lawrence, a middle school parent, writes, “I just wanted to say ‘thank you’ for all your help with our fundraiser! You guys are phenomenal. The kids are happy and so am I. I appreciate how easy you make it for us to raise money without me needing to tear my hair out at the same time!”

What Stoller Fundraising Wants You to Know

Rob, Ben, and their team want everyone to know how honored they are to be part of the communities they serve. “The opportunity to serve, give, and grow with our customers these last 25 years has been a blessing. I can’t even begin to describe how grateful I am to get to work with such amazing people every single day,” Ben says.
