Everything Mommyhood: Butter Braid® Pastry Review & Giveaway

on May 14, 2021

by Everything Mommyhood

Last month I was contacted by Butter Braid® brand, and I had heard of them before as they are a sweet and simple fundraiser that I know a lot of people love. Who can turn down yummy fresh baked pastries straight from the oven? Personally, I know my family couldn’t, so that’s why I said yes when they offered to send me their most popular flavors. Serving my family a yummy dessert after a home cooked meal is the best and I love that these are cooked at home to give that fresh baked at home taste. People will think you baked from scratch.

The one-and only Butter Braid Pastry is hand-braided and filled with delicious fruit and cream fillings. I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for anything cream cheese and I LOVE strawberries, so naturally the first one we chose to eat was the Strawberry and Cream Cheese Butter Braid Pastry. My fiancé and our four girls both love strawberry and cream cheese too, so I was excited for them all to try it.

They’re super easy to make too and don’t require a lot of effort, but they do require patience! For me the best time to set them out is around 8am-10am in the morning and by the time 6pm-7pm rolls around it’s ready to bake!

Tales From a Southern Mom: Butter Braid® Pastry Review

on March 12, 2021

by Tales from a Southern Mom

So, school has started or maybe going to start this next week and your kids do not want to get out of bed. I have the solution, Butter Braid® Pastries! This is a fabulous pastry that you can take from your freezer the night before and put it in the pan, wait for it to rise and bake it the next morning. When your family smells this baking they will be running out of their rooms to get their share!

The people at the Butter Braid brand were so wonderful and sent me:

  • Strawberry & Cream Cheese
  • Cinnamon
  • Apple
  • Double Chocolate
  • Raspberry
  • Blueberry & Cream Cheese

All of them are so good and when school time comes your kids are wide awake and ready to go. I know around here no matter what it is if they smell something baking they are all coming into the kitchen to see what is going on.

I like how you can have the Butter Braid Pastries in the freezer, and if you get wind someone is coming from dinner, you can take it out and let it thaw and be ready to bake after your dinner. What a treat!

The Soccer Mom Blog: 10 Ways to Help Your Community During a Crisis

on January 18, 2021

by the Soccer Mom Blog

The past couple months have been an experience that has kept us all far apart physically, but in many ways has brought us closer together.

We’ve lived through a few major disasters in Houston in recent years, including Hurricane Harvey and Tropical Storm Imelda. Both were devastating, but at the same time, it was inspiring to see our community rally to help each other rebuild.

The current pandemic is different because there are still shelter-in-place orders in many parts of the country. How do you help your neighbors and loved ones when you’re supposed to stay apart?

The good news is that it IS possible to serve your community and bring joy to your friends and family, all while practicing safe social distancing!

I put together this list to share some of the ways our family has tried to help out in our community, as well as ideas from some of my creative friends. I hope it inspires you to get involved, even from home!

1. Bake Sweet Treats for Loved Ones or Essential Workers

Nothing says “I Love You” like delicious food! That’s actually how my husband won me over — by cooking for me!

Even if you’re not a pro in the kitchen, you can still whip up a wow-worthy treat to drop off for friends and family, or even essential workers that you know.

Our family stocked up on Butter Braid® pastries to keep in our freezer for those occasions. Just last week we baked a couple pastries for my mother-in-law (a live-in caretaker), her sister, and her patient. They’ve been cooped up at home for two months now and were delighted when we made them a sweet surprise!

by That Bald Chick

Fundraising is a great way to raise money for kids, charity, schools and other events. While there are many options of fundraising available, none seem to compare to Butter Braid® pastries. Since 1991, Butter Braid brand fundraising has helped moms, volunteers, and nonprofit groups raise over $200 million to better kids, schools, and communities!

Why choose Butter Braid pastries for fundraising?

HIGH PER ITEM PROFIT

With Butter Braid brand you are able to earn more for each item sold which creates higher profit margins for fundraising. When you compare the structure of this brand versus other fundraising options, the sales can surpass most fundraising programs.

UNIQUE FUNDRAISING PRODUCT

Butter Braid brand is only available as a unique fundraising product. This means you have the advantage by selling something that people can only gain access to through fundraising events. This is a great way to increase profit because it’s not available to the general public.

DELICIOUS ANY TIME OF DAY

Butter Braid pastries are delicious any time of the day. As a breakfast, this delicious pastry can make the morning routine go a bit smoother for busy moms everywhere. You can let it rise overnight, bake it up and then enjoy a quick bite in the morning with your kids.

Butter Braid Pastries and Almond Glaze Recipe

on October 7, 2019

by A Mom’s Take

It’s back to school time, which also means back to fundraisers. It can be tiring to have the same fundraiser year after year or to support a fundraiser with one of those lame catalogs stuffed full of expensive items you really have no use for. The Butter Braid® brand is celebrating their 25th year and are a unique fundraiser that families will love to help support your cause with a yummy reward when they do!

Butter Braid pastries are about the easiest breakfast, brunch, side dish or dessert you can serve. They come ready made and assembled and are stored in the freezer. You’ll pull the pastry out of the freezer just before you head to bed and let it sit out to thaw and rise overnight. When you wake up, it will be like magic – sitting there ready and waiting for you to bake the Butter Braid pastry.

If you’d rather serve it as an evening dessert or side, just take a pastry out first thing in the morning and bake that evening. You’ll want to allow 10-12 hours for your pastry to thaw and have time to rise before baking.

Butter Braid® Pastries Fundraising Review & #Giveaway

on October 7, 2019

by Mommies with Cents

I made this awesome pastry the other day and asked my hubby what he thought of it. He replied “haven’t you had one of those before?” The pastry was a Butter Braid® pastry, a hand-braided pastry filled with fruit and cream fillings. Since 1991, Butter Braid pastries fundraising has helped moms, volunteers, and nonprofit groups raise over $200 million to better kids, schools, and communities! Apparently some of that fundraising had gone to support something in my husband’s past but not my own. Boy, was I missing out but not just on the funds — the pastry is delicious!

Butter Braid pastries comes frozen solid and you’ll need to plan ahead a little to enjoy it. That’s because the dough has to thaw and rise and it takes 8-10 hours. It’s completely worth it! If you want a breakfast pastry just set it out on a pan covered loosely with plastic wrap. If you’d rather have it as an after dinner treat, just set it out in the morning!

Butter Braid® Pastries Fundraising Review and Giveaway

on October 7, 2019

by the Bragging Mommy

Fundraising is just a part of life if you are a parent (and sometimes even when you’re not!). We all know that some fundraisers are better than others. Take Girl Scout cookies for example… you usually really want those cookies, and when it supports a great cause, it’s a double win. Well if you have a reason to raise funds anytime soon, I HIGHLY suggest using Butter Braid® Brand Fundraising!

The fundraising itself seems very easy- they have the whole thing laid out, and you use a local fundraising representative that helps you with the whole process. I like that you deal with someone locally, not just a huge company that is far away and has so many different accounts on it’s plate. (pun intended)

As for the taste of Butter Braid pastries… we first tried the strawberry cream cheese flavor. OMGEEEEE so delicious! Seriously, is there anything better than bread with a strawberry cream cheese filling? SO satisfying. These are great for company- stick in your freezer, and then 12 hours before you want to bake it let it thaw, then pop it in the oven. Delicious pastry, easy as pie. (again, pun intended)

Butter Braid® Fundraising Review & Giveaway – ends 10/6

on October 7, 2019

by Open Hands

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day….but we’re often in such a rush that we simply don’t find the time. I used to be great about preparing a hot meal every morning for my kids, but as our family grew it became harder to do that every day.

If I can find something to make my mornings easier, while still getting a delicious hot meal on the table…I’m on board! Butter Braid® pastry is a product that can be purchased through a fundraising company and we were excited to give them a try.
