New Look, Same Great Taste

The Butter Braid® brand has a new look! We’ve updated our logo, typeface, packaging, marketing materials, and even created a new tagline. Our dealers’ and customers’ needs are always evolving, so our business and products are growing right along with them. We’re not like the other fundraising brands on the market. The commitment we have to our core values and our customers sets us apart from the rest, and now the brand’s new look will help further separate us from the pack.

Every business needs a logo that represents its values and attributes. After all, a logo is what creates a first and lasting impact on the public. The Butter Braid brand has always been proud of the message its logo conveys to its customers. That’s why the message is the same – we just tweaked the design a little. Our new logo is smoother around the edges with less harsh outlines to give it a more modern feel .

The flavors of our Butter Braid pastries are rich and delicious; don’t worry, we’d never change them! But we did change the packaging of our product to better highlight those great flavors. We’ve chosen a horizontal design concept that prominently displays the main ingredient of each pastry. This new style also allows us to feature more color in our packaging which makes it easier for our customers to find them in the freezer!

new lookOur marketing materials have also undergone a redesign. The new, fresh imagery gives our materials a more modern feel that will better connect to consumers of all ages. The photos we’ve featured contain a nice blend of lifestyle and product photos.

“Share the Good” is the tagline for the new and improved Butter Braid brand, and we are in love with it. The word “good” is referring to several different things: the good taste of our products, the good feeling you get when you share our products with people you love, and the good you’re doing for your community by buying and selling Butter Braid pastries. There’s just so much good to go around!

All these changes have opened us up to great new opportunities and ensured we will be staying around for plenty of years to come. But rest assured, while our look may have changed, we’re still the same brand that you fell in love with. We’ve just given ourselves room to grow.

Bavarian Crème is Back!

Customers have begged us to bring it back; they’ve pleaded for its return. Well, this season, their pleas have been answered.

The Bavarian Crème Butter Braid® pastry is making a comeback this fall! With delectable fudge icing and sweet vanilla filling, it’s a pastry lover’s dream. This French-inspired delicacy leaves everyone who tastes it wanting more.

Bavarian Crème was retired in 2013, but everyone loved it too much to let it go. With flavors this good, it belongs in the Butter Braid® pastry line-up. You all thought so too. So, we’re thrilled to be pulling this flavor from the vault for relaunch in Fall 2019.

Cinnamon Pastry Roll is Back!

The Butter Braid® brand has some exciting news for the 2019 fall fundraising season. The Cinnamon Pastry Roll is returning to the Butter Braid brand product line up!

We’ve received many requests from Dealers and customers to bring back our famous Cinnamon Pastry Roll since we retired it in 2018. With its butter, flaky Danish dough, and warm cinnamon filling, the cinnamon roll has always been a fan favorite. So, we’re glad to be able to offer it, once again, to the people who love it.

Ask your local dealer if they’ve picked up this breakfast favorite. They can point you to a local fundraiser that will have what you’re looking for. After all, we love to “Share the Good!”

Cream Cheese Jalapeño Bread

Add some spice to your life with this savory Butter Braid® pastry recipe. Hot jalapenos and cool cream cheese will bring some flair to your next dinner. What are you waiting for? Try it for yourself today. Follow the detailed baking instructions for this recipe below, and you’ll have the perfect cream cheese jalapeno bread. It will quickly become your family’s new favorite side dish.

Ingredients
  • 1 Cream Cheese Butter Braid pastry
  • 12-15 jalapenos
  • Lemon pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Dry Ranch dressing mix
  • Coconut oil
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
  1. Set your Cream Cheese Butter Braid pastry out to rise 8-12 hours.
  2. Just before baking, push the jalapenos between the slits in the braid.
  3. Sprinkle the lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder on top. Season to taste.
  4. Mix together the dry ranch dressing mix and the coconut oil and drizzle on top.
  5. Bake pastry in oven at 325 degrees for 22-27 minutes.
  6. When there is only a few minutes left, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Strawberry Banana Split Dessert

Chocolate pastry, strawberry mousse, and banana whipped cream upgrades the traditional banana split and makes a perfect treat for your summer vacation. Try it for yourself today. Follow our baking instructions below or check out our video for this recipe to make the perfect strawberry banana split. 

Ingredients
  • Double Chocolate Butter Braid® pastry
  • 1 small pkg. strawberry jello (4 serving size)
  • 1 cup very hot water
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, room temp.
  • 2 cups Cool Whip, thawed
  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 1 ½ cups whipping cream
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • Garnish: chocolate sauce, maraschino cherries, banana slices, strawberries, crushed pineapple, and whipped topping
Step-by-step Directions
  • Let your Double Chocolate pastry rise 8-12 hours
  • Bake according to the package directions and let cool
  • Crumble pastry up into a 13×9″ pan. Press down slightly in pan with spatula or fingers.
  • Prepare strawberry mousse
    • Whisk together the jello powder and the 1 cup of very hot water until jello powder is dissolved. Let cool for 15 minutes.
    • In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
    • Beat in the cooled jello. Let cool to room temp.
    • Fold in the Cool Whip and strawberries. Place bowl in fridge to chill for about 30-45 minutes.
  • Prepare banana whipped cream
    • In small bowl, beat banana with beaters until no chunks remain.
    • In a bigger bowl, beat the whipping cream with the sugar and vanilla.
    • Scrape the banana into the cream and beat another 20 seconds. Not too long – you don’t want to overwhip the cream.
    • Chill for about 15 minutes.
  • Prepare the dessert
    • Place the strawberry mousse over the crumbled up chocolate pastry, smoothing it out with a spoon or spatula.
    • Next place the banana whipped cream on top of the strawberry mousse. Carefully smooth out over the strawberry mousse.
  • Enjoy your strawberry banana split dessert!

  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 envelope Dream Whip
  • 2 Tbsp. milk, more if needed to reach desired consistency
  • ½ cup flour
  • 3 cups powdered sugar, more if needed to reach desired consistency
  • 2/3 cup mini chocolate chips
Step-by-Step Directions
  1. Let your Double Chocolate pastry rise 8-12 hours
  2. Bake pastry according to directions on package
  3. Set pastry aside and let cool
  4. Combine softened cream cheese and butter together in large bowl
  5. Add brown sugar, vanilla, and Dream Whip and beat together
  6. Add milk, flour, and powdered sugar. Beat together until smooth
  7. Stir in mini chocolate chips
  8. Use spatula and frost pastry with mixture
    TIP: cover the bowl with frosting with saran wrap and put in fridge for about 15 minutes to thicken up
  9. Enjoy your cookie dough sensation!

Ingredients
  • 2 Double Chocolate Butter Braid® pastries
  • 2 12oz pkg. frozen raspberries
  • 6 oz. fresh raspberries for garnish
  • 13 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3.4 oz. instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 6 oz. raspberry jam
Step-by-Step Directions
  1. Let the 2 Double Chocolate pastries rise for 8-12 hours
  2. Bake the pastries according to the package directions
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the milk, water, and vanilla until blended
  4. Add pudding mix and whisk for 2 minutes, let stand for 2 minutes or until soft.
  5. Fold in whipped cream
  6. Chill until ready to layer trifle.
  7. Prepare frozen raspberries – drain well and sprinkle 1-2 Tbsp. sugar on top

LAYER ONE

  1. Cut up one Butter Braid pastry into inch size pieces, layer on bottom of bowl
  2. Layer on 1/3 whipped cream mixture
  3. Spread ½ raspberry jam over cream mixture
  4. Sprinkle one pkg. frozen raspberries over jam

LAYER TWO

  1. Cut up the other Butter Braid pastry into 1″ sized pieces
  2. Layer pastry pieces on top of raspberries
  3. Layer on 1/3 whipped cream mixture
  4. Spread raspberry jam over cream mixture
  5. Sprinkle remaining frozen raspberries over jam
  6. Top with last 1/3 of whipped cream mixture
  7. Top with fresh raspberries
  8. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve your double chocolate raspberry trifle

Strawberry French Toast

Ingredients
  • 1 Strawberry & Cream Cheese Butter Braid® pastry
Egg Mixture
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. half and half (or milk)
  • 23 oz. frozen, sliced, sweetened strawberries
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. corn starch
  • ½ cup sugar
Step-by-step directions
  1. Let Strawberry & Cream Cheese pastry rise 8-12 hours.
  2. Prepare pastry according to package directions.
  3. Let the pastry cool. Once cool, slice pastry into 1/2″ slices
  4. Heat griddle to 325-350 degrees
  5. Drizzle with oil and 2 Tbsp. butter
  6. Combine ingredients for egg mixture
  7. Dip bread into egg mixture
  8. Fry until golden brown
  9. Brush top of bread with egg mixture before turning
  10. Remove to a platter and dust with powdered sugar
  11. Unthaw strawberries for sauce, drain the syrup into a sauce pan
  12. Add corn starch to syrup and cook on low heat until thick
  13. Add strawberries and vanilla, stir well 
  14. Spoon strawberry sauce over warm bread to finish your strawberry French toast.

Rainbow Fruit Pizza

Serves 12-16.

Ingredients
  • 1 Butter Braid® package of caramel rolls
  • 1 cup blueberries, thawed
  • 1 cup raspberries, thawed
  • 1 cup peach slices, thawed & cut into small pieces
Filling
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
Crumb topping
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • Cut together until crumbs form
Frosting
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ T. milk
  • 1 T butter
Step-by-step directions
  1. Thaw Caramel Pastry Roll in the refrigerator overnight.
  2. Carefully unroll it. Roll dough out in a 10 x 10” square.
  3. Place on large, greased pizza stone. Cover and let rise 2-4 hours until double in thickness.
  4. Combine together ingredients for the filling. Spoon filling on entire crust.
  5. Arrange blueberries, peaches and raspberries each on 1/3 of crust.
  6. Cut together ingredients for crumb topping. Once a crumbly mixture forms, place on top of pizza.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool slightly
  9. Mix together ingredients for frosting. Drizzle on pizza.

EXTRA CARAMEL PACKAGE: Add it to ¼ cup cream, heat. 45 seconds, stir & serve with ice cream or apples!
